Dam Area

Water Temp: 62
Clarity: Clear

The lake is 3 feet higher than it was last week.  The unstable water level and weather has made the fishing tough on all the area lakes.  There are still some whites on main lake points and humps in 40-60ft. of water.  White 1/2 oz. jigging spoons are the best baits.  We are catching a few bass running main lake points on spinnerbaits.  Cloudcover must be present for this pattern to be productive.

Rivers

Water Temp:
Clarity: Stained

Spinnerbaits and wiggle warts are catching some decent bass in the rivers.  There is a lot of cover in the water, “too much”.  The deeper coves with less cover are the best right now.  Look for banks with sparse cover and work them thoroughly.
